Unfortunately, due to some scheduling problems, the Swimming Club Christmas Party has been postponed. We apologise for the inconvenience and regret that we cannot get together before the holiday period.
We have instead decided to hold a Back to the Pool Party at the end of the holidays – Wednesday 27th January 2016.
This will be a fresh start for all current swimmers and a great opportunity for any new swimmers to come and meet the Ballina Memorial Swimming Club community.
On behalf of the BMSC Committee, we hope you have a safe and happy holiday season, and look forward to catching up with you in 2016.
Come along to the first Race Night of the new season. There will be a sausage sizzle and plenty of friendly people to meet and greet.
When: 6pm Wednesday 28th October
Where: Ballina Memorial Swimming Pool
Why: Sausage Sizzle, Soft Drink, Swimming Races, what else can you ask for?

On behalf of the Ballina Memorial Swimming Club (BMSC) committee, may I take this opportunity to personally welcome each and every one of you to your Club, for the new 2015 – 2016 swimming season.
Our Club Nights will commence on Wednesday November 4th at 6.00pm. Wednesday nights are our regular Club Nights. Club Night cannot proceed each week without the assistance of seven timekeepers (1 per lane). Please volunteer as your assistance is greatly appreciated and the event will run more efficiently.
We have a fundraising BBQ on offer each week, with sausage sandwiches and drinks at a minimal cost. The BBQ has for many years been a fantastic opportunity to raise much needed funds for the Ballina Memorial Swimming Club’s end of season presentation night. For more information we encourage families to seek out committee members to find out how Club Night operates.
During the 2015-2016 season we are hoping many of our competitive swimmers will attend development and qualifying carnivals and maybe even State and National meets. The Club views all carnivals as social and enjoyable family events. The North Coast has a strong competitive arm within the State and our Club has continued to be part of their success.
Many committee organisational hours have been spent building the Club up to its present strength and involvement within the swimming community. We hope you all enjoy the swimming season ahead.
Yours in swimming,
